How do I update my device?

To ensure maximum security, we recommend that you always use the latest version of iOS.

To update your device over WiFi:

1. Connect the device to a power source
2. Tap Settings > General > Software Update
3. Tap the Download and Install button
4. Once the download finishes, tap Install

To update your device with iTunes on a computer:

1. Make sure the computer has the latest version of iTunes installed
2. Connect your device to the computer with a cable
3. Open iTunes on the computer
4. Select your device in iTunes
   
5. Click Summary, then Check for Update
6. Click the Download and Update button
